WHO WE ARE
HOLY VANILLA!
Our goal is to turn "vanilla" Christians into "spicy chocolate" Christians.
We believe in Jesus wholeheartedly.
We believe the Bible is underutilized.
We are not a church.
We are not Pastors.
We are intentionally independent of a church denomination but with a whole bunch of Christian church and faith experience.
We have a spiritual covering from an established pastor with an impeccable reputation, but we are not members of this pastor’s church, nor do we represent all the beliefs of this pastor’s church.
From an accounting/business perspective, we are not a 501(c)(3), and any financial contributions will not be tax-deductible to the giver.
CONTENT CAUTION
Ultimately, we hope everyone is uplifted through our videos even though the subjects and/or angles we take may come across as, well, cross (pun kind of intended). Many of you will disagree with us on many topics while others may agree on most things, but not on everything. We’re okay with all of this. If you don’t like what you see and/or hear on our channel, give it a try a few more times or watch something else. No offense taken. Holy Vanilla! is not for everybody.
Having said the above, we will love and respect everyone regardless of their race, sexual orientation, protestant denomination, finances, and drug usage. And just because we love and respect everyone doesn’t mean we agree with what everyone is doing. Just as you don’t agree with Holy Vanilla! on everything, right? No two people in the history of life on earth agree on everything…we don’t think it’s going to happen now, either.
WHY WATCH THESE
VIDEOS?
Holy Vanilla! Is meant to challenge American Christians to be better Christians. Christianity is declining in our country in about every way you can imagine. And almost every Christian I know complains about this decline. I think all Christians can agree on this! Where we may differ is I think Christians have allowed themselves to become too compromised with their daily/weekly actions in relation to their faith and THIS is what is causing our decline. God has called me to highlight this discrepancy to my fellow Christians. And they are not easy messages to swallow!
If you're a non-Christian, you probably agree with much of what you hear on these videos but have "moved on" from thinking Christianity is right for you. I believe the message of Jesus Christ through the Bible is much more powerful and rewarding than what you've seen and/or been told through the actions of many American Christians today. If you watch these videos and connect with what you see and hear, I encourage you to look further into the beauty of Christianity and what it can do for you and for others.
Lastly, for my non-Christian viewers, I encourage you to seek out the rock-solid Jesus believers I know exist and who would be wonderful with whom to connect. Not all Christians today are hypocritical and milquetoast! Many are wonderful human beings who are quite loving, act out a biblical lifestyle, and are not judgemental.
